The singer (xcuse me ) in me

the first time , i ever sang

was once i was in 3rd std i think..

was made 2 giv name 4 inglish recitation..Anniemol miss(mathematix teecher of 3rd std) gave me one song...it sounded gud when she sang, makin me lern..

i presented it..nuthin noteable happnd..

then in the 4th std..

by tat time i was a renounced singer :D :D :D

in the skool level yuth festival the competition was bw the 4 houses,red,green,yellow and blue..

in 4th std,,i was in blue house..

4 the yuth festival, i was in the grup song teem..and v got 1st prize!!!!

the song was “Ambalappuzhe unnikannanoodu nee”(sung by Sreekumar and Chitra, film Advaitham)...

then in sum othr grup song also(not 4 yuth festival) i was in the teem and again won 1st prize..

this time the song was ..whu sed my memory is bad..

the song is as follows...

well,ther was a singer in our grup song teem,whu later used 2 earn valuable points 4 our skool in state level yuth festival etc..Simla..shes nw master in the art.

whn i enterd 5th std, my voice became manly :D :D :D

voice no more supports singing...so gav up my hope 2 give a competition 2 Yesudas :D :D :D

the obvious thing happnd...time passed by..

nw im in 12th...the prayer song in assembly is the responsblty of each class for a week.our class' turn came up..i stil cant believ i was in tat prayer song teem.it was a gud song..... "ennumennil nirayaum velichame, ente kaiyyil kudiyirikkenamee...."

durin thos days i stayd in St Thomas hostel....hostel day celebrations came ,competitions...

the singer in me woke up :D :D :D

after all im an xperienced singer rite....only in 3 competitions i participated..

of those in 2 i got 1st prize.(u r not supposd 2 4get tat i got 1st prizes in the 2 grup songs.):D :D :D

so motivating winnin percentage :D

thot of a song.....told my frnd Sudheesh. He 2ld me of gettin a song within next day..from one of our juniors whu's a gud singer …got one song..

Ramu gav me the lyrix,he gav me the cassette 2o ,his own recorded voice..

thank God...its not tat tuf...

tried tat, practised both the songs......the 2nd one seemed easier...

well Ashraf has given his name for the competition.... he 's gud in singin hindi songs...high pitch is his favrt..and also he like 2 sing in his own way..no one is supposd 2 find fault with ones on creativity..

the song "Dil hoom ghoom kare" from the film Rudaali, i heard it for the first time, when Ashraf sung it. it was xcellnt whn he sang....

othr frns r not of the same opinion as me coz,they hav herd it b4..

ny ways it was tremendous..

he sings with the feeling..

u shud hear hw he sings " khalbali hai khalbali" of Rang De Basanti

specially the..

its at 4.30 . in the post lunch session, Ashraf told me , if i also can participate for the sake of givin him a company..

i maild the organizers..and slots for nxt day is not availbl.only on tat day itslf i can participate..noooo way....

coz i hav yet 2 decide on a song and PRACTISE....ohk so next time, i thot..

soon came a call frm the organizers,askin me 2 participate on the same day....well, if i get a song, i vl ; sumhow i told tat..

he told me tat , i need sing at 6.00 pm..nw its 2 pm.

i only know tat same old “Chempaneer pooviruthu” only...

yeah, so again “Chempaneer poov”..

nw 3 mor hours 2 go ,4 startin the competition. Ashraf is nw th responsbl person in gettin me the song's mp3...

i also know only first 4 lines of the song. :d

i serchd for anothr song,atlast found “Kaneerpoovinte” (sung by Yesudas film,Kireedam).

listnd 2 it, felt not tat tuf as ‘Chempaneerpoov.’

ohk..so startd typin the lyrix of this malayalam song in inglish. almost dun....whn Ashraf found the url of the othr song, “Oru chempaneer”..

downloded it.. startd typin the lyrics of tat too... (v got 10 minutes in the competition and can sing 2 songs..)

well the abv 2 songs i thot..finishd ritin the lyrics..listend 2 both of the songs, readin the lyrix simultaneously... well red the lyrix twice..

in bw this got a call frm Saju, sayin tat mine is nxt turn...its only 5.00 !!!. the evnt only startd at 4.30.....

copid both of these lyrix frm notepad 2 word, gave a print, tuk it and rushd 2 the A2 orchids. the venue..

Vidya,the previous participant was abt 2 finish..

few hours b4 @ noon, i was listenin 2 the mp3 of the song, she was goin 2 sing, so tat i can njoi it whn its been sung.

i was surprised 2 c tat Ashraf's name is not ther..also tat of Bonny's.. Ashraf's song i cudnt hear.tat time i was busy with typin lyrix of my song..

but Bonny's i did hear...the song felt 2 hav tat feeling also....well bad luck..

i went reedin the mail..wel, wot..wats ritten ther..
